Storman (online) MoveIns
Introduction
Storman MoveIns, or SMOV for short is by far the most popular add-on to Storman Cloud.
This is Storman’s online and paperless storage signup process/portal, and allows your potential customers to:
select a storage unit from your availability,
fill in all of their contact information,
provide photo ID and/or be ID verified against a government source**,
review, accept, and e-sign on screen your storage terms and conditions,
complete an initial payment upfront, while also securely storing their payment information for recurring storage payments,
all online, all digital, anywhere anytime!
**ID verification requires an account with APLYiD
To take payments, the facility must be using one of our supported payment providers
Entry points and usage
This signup process comes with several entry points to make the storage signup process at your facility as seamless as possible for your customers, these entry points are:

“In-store” landing page | We (Storman) provide you with a unique URL specific to your facility, add this as a bookmark to an iPad, tablet or dedicated computer on your front desk. |
“Signup at home” link | This link is sent from Storman Cloud, via email or SMS to an active reservation. The customer completes the signup process anywhere, anytime, before arriving on site. |
“Skip the selection” link | Already have your units and sizes on your website? Send your customer directly into our signup process after selecting a unit from your website or size selector. |
